KNOCK KNOCK

This is a little ditty I wrote and recording one afternoon. It's weird. I like it. I made a creepy little video for it too.

VEGA-TABLES

This is a cover of Brian Wilson's "Vega-tables." I recorded this one evening on an old four-track I have. I don't know how to use it very well, there is a lot of static build up from bouncing tracks, but it was still fun. I also made this little video for it. I do everything on the track, including chewing percussively on carrots, which is much more difficult than you might think. You can only get that good crunch once or twice before it turns to mush.

LISTEN VERY CLOSELY

A song I wrote and performed with Beards of Paradise. I recorded it on my own and it is actually a complete recording with vocals and all.



WE DIDN'T START THE FIRE & THRILLER

These two covers (Billy Joel & Michael Jackson respectively) are also from when I played with Beards of Paradise. I recorded everything on these tracks, but they don't have any vocals because I would do that live. I've been meaning to record the vocals for quite some time, but I just haven't gotten to it. They are full reproductions with a twist and I think they do the original tracks justice. "Thriller" even contains the sound effects and the Vincent Price spoken-word outro. So if you know the words, sing along.
